Dragon Ball Super's Galactic Patrol anime shut out of Jump Festa 2027 lineup
No panel, no Goku in the key visual — a 2027 premiere for the Moro arc adaptation is looking dead in the water.

Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol, the anime adapting the Moro arc that Toei Animation announced back in January at the Dragon Ball 40th Anniversary Genkidamatsuri, is straight up missing from the Jump Festa 2027 Super Stage lineup, according to ScreenRant. One Piece, Naruto, Bleach and Demon Slayer all got a spot on the stage, and even Goku is nowhere to be found in the event's promotional key visual for the December 19-20 show.
That's rough timing, because Chainsaw Man is in basically the same boat — its anime continuation got announced earlier this year with no release window either — yet it still locked down a Jump Festa slot, which usually means MAPPA's about to drop news on the International Assassins arc. Historically, if a big series doesn't get a Jump Festa stage, it's not dropping within the next twelve months, so a 2027 premiere for The Galactic Patrol is looking close to impossible.
Toei could still pull a surprise trailer out of nowhere or make an announcement outside the Shueisha-run event entirely, since the franchise is big enough to do its own thing. In the meantime, Dragon Ball Super: Beerus, a remastered redo of the original Battle of Gods-era episodes with new animation cuts and re-recorded dubbing, is only weeks from airing.
