Toyotarou takes over Dragon Ball's story after Toriyama's 40-year run

Dragon Ball has confirmed that Toyotarou, the artist behind Dragon Ball Super, is now the one steering the franchise's story going forward, closing out the roughly 40-year run that began under creator Akira Toriyama.

The confirmation came through new artwork and story changes made to the God of Destruction Beerus arc anime remake, a sign Toyotarou's creative fingerprints are shaping canon across the whole series now, not just the Super spinoff. No debate, this is a new era.
