Netflix Locks In October 17 US Premiere For Dragon Ball Super: Beerus
The remastered Beerus arc is an enhanced redo of the 2015 original, and the first episode previews early at New York Comic Con.

Netflix dropped the confirmation Thursday: Dragon Ball Super: Beerus is landing on the service in the US on October 17, with select other regions getting it October 14, according to Anime News Network. The series already screens in Japan starting October 11 through Crunchyroll, so US fans are looking at a six-day spoiler-dodging window, no cap.
This isn't just a reupload — Toei rebuilt the early Super arcs from scratch for this "ENHANCED" edition, meaning new cuts, redrawn scenes, a full re-render of the footage, and fresh dubbing with added score and sound effects. Kōichi Yamadera is back voicing Beerus, Tadayoshi Yamamuro returns as character designer and general animation director, and MEGATERA・ZERO and VK Blanka handle the opening and ending theme songs.
The story picks up after Majin Buu, when Beerus, the God of Destruction, wakes up and comes looking for the Saiyan who beat Frieza — setting off the fight with Goku that kicked off the entire Super era back in 2015, when it ran 131 episodes through 2018. Fans who want first dibs can catch the premiere episode early at the Dragon Ball Super: Beerus panel at New York Comic Con on October 8.
