Dragon Ball Super: Beerus remake squeezes 40+ episodes of story into just 19
The October 11 premiere covers the Beerus, Frieza's Revival and Universe 6 arcs back to back, streaming weekly on Crunchyroll through a February 14 finale.

Dragon Ball Super: Beerus premieres October 11, 2026 and it is moving FAST. Toei confirmed the remake covers three arcs, the Hakaishin Beerus Arc, Frieza's Revival Arc and the Universe 6 Arc, but according to leaker @SugoiLITE, the whole run is only 19 episodes. For context, the original 2015 anime needed more than 40 episodes to get through the same three storylines, so this is a real pacing overhaul, not just a reskin.
The remake airs weekly on Sundays at 7:15 AM PDT on Crunchyroll, with episode 19 set to close things out on February 14, 2027. That means the whole God of Destruction saga, Goku hitting Super Saiyan God, Vegeta's first taste of god-level power, and Frieza's return, plus the Universe 6 Tournament with Hit and Cabba, all gets told in under half the original episode count, according to ScreenRant. Toei is reportedly using the tighter run as a stepping stone before Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol picks up the Moro Arc.
