Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Remake Finally Pulls Up On Netflix, One Week Behind Japan
Toei's reworked take on the Beerus and Golden Frieza arcs hits Crunchyroll and Japan on Oct. 11, with Netflix dropping it for US fans on Oct. 17.

Dragon Ball Super: Beerus — Toei's enhanced rebuild of the early Super arcs — broadcasts in Japan and streams on Crunchyroll starting Oct. 11, and Netflix is bringing it to US audiences a week later on Oct. 17, marking the first time Netflix has landed a major current Dragon Ball release instead of Crunchyroll handling the global rollout like it did with Dragon Ball Daima, according to ScreenRant.
This isn't just the 2015 Battle of the Gods material getting reposted — Toei went back and redid the Goku vs. Beerus arc and the Golden Frieza material with new cuts and revised scenes, cleaning up a stretch of Super that fans have long said looked rough on its original broadcast. Netflix's rollout also extends to several other international territories beyond the US, though none of those listings beat Crunchyroll's same-day simulcast.
