Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Remake Confirmed To Cover Battle Of Gods Through Universe 6
Toei's first new DB anime in eight years hits this fall with a full rebuild of the story, not just a visual touch-up.

Dragon Ball Super: Beerus is locked in for the Fall 2026 anime season, and Toei isn't just running the original footage through a filter — this is a ground-up reconstruction of the story with reworked pacing and fight choreography, according to ComicBook.com. The season covers three arcs: Battle of Gods, Resurrection F, and Universe 6, marking Dragon Ball's first new TV anime run in eight years.
The trailer's already shown noticeably more vibrant visuals and sharper fight staging than the original adaptation, and the remake is built to follow Akira Toriyama's original story more faithfully while fixing pacing issues fans have complained about for over a decade. That means the Vegeta-vs-Beerus blowup, Goku and Vegeta's first Super Saiyan Blue pull-up on Frieza, Golden Frieza's debut, and the Goku-vs-Hit standoff are all getting a real shot at landing the way they were supposed to the first time.
